The works produced were created spontaneously, without any pre-conceived plans. These moments or spaces in time released me from the reality of everyday life.

    I had no pressure to create from a plan or sketch. I would leave out all exterior influences, and let my hand-eye coordination take over.

The texture was applied in a very impulsive manner. The color was applied directly and mixed on the work in progress. The light reflected or absorbed from each color would then react together or in opposites to create movement and mood.

    My 2007 Egyptian series of work was influences by images from travel magazines. I then modified the images to correspond with the modern times that we live in.
